Hello

A little about me! As I mentioned above, my name is Andrea Kenney. I am a joyfully married wife to my amazing husband, Jon. We are a blended family sharing 5 children altogether. Our journey together started 3 years ago. We have both found that God is truly of utmost importance in our marriage. He is the vital 'Cornerstone' that allows us both to love each other in a Christlike manner. The way that He designed. I would venture to say that communication would be a very close second when it comes to the level of importance in our marriage. I am a sincere and honest woman, but that was not always the case. I was once a very lost soul who spent 25+ years running away from God. It is by His grace and mercy alone that I am even here today to share these words with you all. So I have to give Him full acknowledgment and honor in my life's story. I want to share with everyone that I am a real human being with very real emotions and in a very real marriage. We are not perfect and we will never act as such. The life and bond we have built thus far has taken a lot of courage, communication, humility, tears, anger, confusion, and even some sleepless nights. We aren't here to put on a show. We're real life people who are continuing to work through our own personal differences, in order to build the marriage God has designed for us. And it's been every bit worth it! Just a quick little tidbit of advice, I know life without God, and I know life with God. And in every single aspect going forward, I will always do my life with Him. If you have yet to meet Him, I encourage all to do so. It is truly a life changing encounter, and I assure you that loving your spouse will be far easier with God at the helm of that 'ship'. Anyhow, we are here to keep it real, honest, vulnerable and transparent. Amber and I have joined together on this journey in hopes that all will be encouraged to fight for their spouse and marriage. We need more people like us and y'all that are willing to set aside egos and pursue our spouses into eternity! This may sound controversial to some, but the purpose of marriage isn't to make you happy, it's to make you Holy. But there's so much joy and happiness to be found, when we truly love each other like Christ loves us! We're so excited to have you all a part of this journey with us. When the marriage is strong, not only are we reaping the beauty of it's fruits, but so are our children and generations to come! We're truly grateful for each of you and most definitely grateful to God for what He's going to do through this podcast and inside of everyone's marriage!
